Clive Boursnell
Market Memories Photography Exhibition

Market Memories is a glimpse into a lifetime’s work by photographer Clive Boursnell, who has been capturing the people of Covent Garden Market for over 50 years. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Clive documented an end of an era as Covent Garden Market prepared to move out of its Westminster home and head south of the river to its new home in Nine Elms. Forty years later, Clive returned to New Covent Garden Market to record the transformation in the practices and the place. But as he found out, the people, they stayed the same.

A project supported by Covent Garden Market Authority and joint venture company VSM (VINCI St. Modwen).
