Workshop and Installation
Agora is a participatory site-specific installation project led by Özge Topçu. It’s inspired by the idea of the marketplace – arguably one of the most organic urban landscapes in history. The artist will engage with the local community through a series of workshops in which she will ask the participants to come up with designs for alternative public spaces which can be built from one of the key components of the market place – the market box. After the structure is built the participants and audience will be encouraged to socialize around this new public space and consider its temporality.
The Workshops will run at ROSE Community Club and New Covent Garden Market.
